Palaia is located on the hills round Pisa, the area offers many activities to take part in such as walks, bird watching, wine estates visits, cookery courses, flying with elicopter, sporting centre ecc.
Many local fairs such as truffle festival, wild bore, open cellars in May, mushrooms, cacciucco (typical fish soup) and many others.

This apartment is located in a resort within 3 swimming pools, a restaurant and a wine bar.
At about 5 minutes from the apartment there is Palaia where you can find shops and restaurants. At 15 minutes there is Pontedera with a train station.

Perched on the top of a hill amongst ancient olive groves, the Medieval Borgo lies between the beautiful cities of Pisa, Florence and Siena.

Pisa is ca. 35 km away, ca. 30 minutes on the Superstrada (no charge) Florence is ca. 55 km away, ca. 50 minutes by car. The Marina di Pisa on the coast is ca. 40 km away. We would however recommend the sandy beach at Viareggio for bathing, ca. 55 km away (50-60 minutes)
