This apartment is located on Via del Campuccio, in the historic neighbourhood of San Frediano. This district is located on the south of Arno River, and some of its most important attractions include Santa Maria del Carmine (originally built in Gothic-Romanic style and almost completely re-built in the 18th Century, famous for the frescoes in the Brancacci Chappel), Chiesa del Santo Spirito (started by Brunelleschi in 1444, one of the most important architects of the Toscan Renaissance) and Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Gardens (both originally designed by Brunelleschi in 1448 on Luca Pitti's orders, the Palazzo was renovated by the Medici family in the 16th Century, and it is currently the home of various museums. The most important one of these museums is Galleria Palatina, composed by the private collection of the Granduchi family. This collection includes numerous works of art produced between the 15th and the 17th Century).
As for public transportation, the apartment is not far from Santa Maria Novella Station, which is the main railway station in Florence. This may be very useful, should you want to make day-trips outside of Florence or if you arrive in the city by train.

The property:

This apartment is located on the 2nd floor (lift unavailable). It has very nice cotto floors.
The apartment is composed of a living room with a double sofa bed and a single sofa bed, a completely equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a Queen sized bed and a bathroom with a tub.
The apartment includes a TV set (TV only in Italian), a washing machine, a microwave, a toaster, a DVD player, an iron and an ironing board.
The size of the apartment is about 65 square metres. Within the same building (same floor) there is another apartment for 2 persons: (click here to view) so if you book the 2 apartments you will be able to bring a party of up to 7 persons.

The price includes:

The price includes gas and electricity consumption, linen and towels. Pets are not allowed.
Tourist tax (not included in the price): 1 euros per person per night. This tax is not included in the apartment rates, has to be paid upon check in, is not appliable to children under 10 years, and can be applied for a maximum of 10 nights.

Security deposit:

A security deposit of Euro 200 in local currency is strictly required. This amount will be refunded in full upon check out, provided everything is in order. Please notice that if you check-in after 20:00 or on a bank holiday you will be asked to pay an extra fee of Euro 30. Please notice that if you check-in after 23:00 you will be asked to pay an extra fee of Euro 100.
