This apartment is located on Via Ghibellina, a street in the Eastern part of the historic centre of Florence, at only 300 metres from Santa Croce Basilica, the world's biggest Franciscan Church, and barely a 10-minute walk from Arno River. This is one of the most typical neighborhood of Florence, where Florentines still live and that the turists hordes usually do not reach. The area is full of shops of all kinds, typical restaurants, trattorie, pizzerias, pubs, markets, Internet points...
From the apartment you will reach in only a 10-15 minute walk the best known attractions of Florence : Piazza Duomo, Palazzo dei Medici, San Lorenzo, Galleria degli Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio...
As for public transportation, the Santa Maria Novella railway station is barely a 20-30 minutes walk away. You can also reach it by bus : bus line C 2 direction "Beccaria", stops just in front of the apartment.
The Sant'Ambrogio covered parking (open 24 hours round) is also very close by.

The property:

This characteristic apartment is located on the ground floor of a 14th century Florentine building, renovated in 2007. Even if the apartment has been fully renovated, it conserves some of its original features, as its wood beamed celling and terracotta floors.
The apartment consists of a spacious living room with a double sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchenette, a bedroom with a Queen sized bed (that can be divided in twin beds), a loft with a single bed, and a bathroom with a shower. The apartment has its own private entrance.
The apartment is provided with the following facilities : Air conditioning, INTERNET, a TV set (Italian TV only), a DVD player, a safe, a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave, a hoover, an iron, a hairdryer and a toaster.
The size of the apartment is about 73 square metres.

The price includes gas and electricity consumption, linen and towels. Pets are not allowed. Please note that for the convenience and safety of all guests, we have a strictly non-smoking policy.
Tourist tax (not included in the price): 1 euros per person per night. This tax is not included in the apartment rates, has to be paid upon check in, is not appliable to children under 10 years, and can be applied for a maximum of 10 nights.

Security deposit:

A security deposit of 100 Euro in local currency is strictly required. This amount will be refunded in full upon check out, provided everything is in order.
