The apartment is located in a strategic spot: barely a few minutes' walk away from the historic centre, you shall be able to reach all of the interesting spots in Florence on foot: Ponte Vecchio, the Galleria degli Uffizi, Forte Belvedere, the Biblioteca Nazionale and Santa Croceare all very close by, on the other side of the river. On the southern bank you will also find Piazzale Michelangelo, which is a lovely spot that you must not miss at any cost!
As for public transportation, the main railway station (Santa Maria Novella) is about 20 minutes away on foot, which will come in very handy if you arrive in Florence by train.
