The Roman Forum, the Coliseum and Piazza Venezia are only a 2/5-minute walk away! The Church of Santa Maria Maggiore is not very far away and can easily be reached on foot. The Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano can also be easily reached by tram, and if you take another bus from there you will find yourself in the Catacombs, off the Roman walls. As for public transportation connections, the Coliseum metro stop (line B) is located just a few minutes away, and several trams as well as buses will take you virtually anywhere in the city.
