The surrounding area:

The apartment is located in the Testaccio area, the "old Roma" centre, next to the archaeological area. The Coliseum, the Roman Forum, Circo Massimo, and the Terme di Caracolla are all within walking distance. The apartment is very well connected to the main historical sights by bus and by underground. If you cross the bridge, over the Tevere (the main Roman river) Trastevere (one of the most typical, fascinating, colourful neighbourhoods in Rome) can be found. From Trastevere you can walk to San Peter, Castel Sant Angelo, Piazza Navona, Campo dei Fiori. In the neighborhood of the apartment you will find, shops, supermarkets, the morning fruit and vegetable open air market, typical "trattoria", restaurants, pizzeria, bars, locals, cinema and lively nightlife for those seeking to see how Romans have fun at night!

The property:

This apartment is located on the 3rd floor (please notice that lift is not available). The apartment has been recently renovated. It is fully furnished, for during the year it is not a holiday apartment, but a genuine Roman home. Biothermic materials have been used while refurbishing the apartment to make sure that it stays warm during the winter and cool in summer.
The apartment is composed by two bedrooms, one with a futon (140 cm), the other with single bed (120 cm) and a living room with a double sofa bed (160 cm), a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a bathing tub and shower. 
The size of the apartment is about 90 square metres.

The price includes gas and electricity consumption, linen and towels.

Tourist tax (not included in the price):
2 euros per person per night. This tax is not included in the apartment rates, has to be paid upon check in, is not appliable to children under 10 years, and can be applied for a maximum of 10 nights.

Security deposit:

A security deposit of 200 Euro (500 euro for stays longer than two weeks) in local currency is strictly required. This amount will be refunded in full upon check out, provided everything is in order. Please note that if you check-in after 19:00 (07:00 p.m.) you will be asked to pay 35 Euro extra; if you check-in after 22:00 (10:00 p.m.) or on an Italian holiday (which include all Sundays and Saturdays, Easter, August 15th, December 25th, January 1st, January 6th, May 1st, June 2nd, April 25th, November 1st, December 8th...) you will be asked to pay 50 Euro extra; if you check-in after 01:00 (1 a.m.) you will be asked to pay 70 Euro extra.
