The surrounding area:

This apartment is located on Via Otranto, very close to the Vatican. Via Otranto starts on Piazza del Risorgimento, a well-known square in Rome, and the last “modern Rome” spot that pilgrims and visitors in general go through before arriving at the Vatican City through Via di Porta Angelica. People from all over the world gather around this square to get to Piazza San Pietro, and every morning groups of all sizes walk along the Vatican Walls in order to get to the Vatican Museums, definitely a must for those who like art – and even for those who do not like it quite so much, the Sixtine Chapel (where new Popes are elected during the conclave) is definitely worth seeing! The area also allows visitors to enjoy all the facilities that modern Rome offers – Viale Giulio Cesare and well as Via Ottaviano (both a few metres away from the apartment) offer locals and visitors the oportunity to do some sensible shopping without having to leave the city centre. As for public transportation, the Ottaviano-San Pietro metro stop (Line A) can be reached in a couple of minutes. A great number of buses also stop at Piazza del Risorgimento, allowing you to get virtually anywhere in the city.

The property:

This apartment has been recently renovated, and is located on the 6th floor (lift available until the 5th floor).
The apartment is composed by 2 bedrooms with a Queen size bed and an ensuite bathroom (with a shower) each and a living room with a kitchenette.
The apartment includes a TV set (TV only in Italian) in each bedroom, a microwave and AIR CONDITIONING. Please note that there is a launderette at 300 metres from the apartment.
The size of the apartment is about 50 square metres.

The price includes gas and electricity consumption, linen and towels. Pets are not allowed.
Tourist tax (not included in the price):
2 euros per person per night. This tax is not included in the apartment rates, has to be paid upon check in, is not appliable to children under 10 years, and can be applied for a maximum of 10 nights.
