This apartment is located on Via Passalacqua, between the neighbourhoods of San Giovanni and  Esquilino rather close to Termini central railway station. The Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano, from where a more ancient part of Rome extends northwards, is at only 10 minutes on foot. With its striking and dramatic skyline, this Basilica is the oldest and first ranking among the four major basilicas of Rome, and also the official seat of the Pope. From here, another 10 minutes on foot will take you to the Colosseum. Right behind this grand monument lies the Forum Romanum, an impressive and vast area containing the ruins of the heart of ancient Rome.
Other parts of the historic centre, with some of the most famous monuments, squares and streets of Rome, are also accessible on foot or by public transport: Circo Massimo, Piazza Venezia, the Campidoglio (Capitoline Hill), Via del Corso, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Campo de’Fiori, Piazza Navona, Piazza del Popolo, Villa Borghese, Villa Medici, and Via Veneto.
The San Giovanni area offers a lively roman experience in a typically European urban setting: As well as being residential, this area offers many characteristic shops and local restaurants frequented by residents, as well as bars and cinemas. The close by area around Termini central railway station (Esquilino neighbourhood), arguably the fastest changing and the most multiethnic neighbourhood in the centre of Rome, is even busier and filled with the everyday bustle of countless markets, shops, offices, restaurants, hotels.

As for public transport, the Line A metro stop “Manzoni” is at about 5 minutes on foot from the apartment, and several bus lines stop nearby (Porta maggiore Tram 3) which will take you virtually anywhere in the city.

The property:

This apartment is located on the second floor with lift. It is composed by a bedroom with a double bed, a living room with one double sofa bed, a kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and bathtub. The apartment includes a TV set (TV only in Italian), A/C, INTERNET (on request), a washing machine, a dishwasher, a microwave, and an ironing board with a iron.
The size of the apartment is about 70 square metres.

Tourist tax (not included in the price):
2 euros per person per night. This tax is not included in the apartment rates, has to be paid upon check in, is not appliable to children under 10 years, and can be applied for a maximum of 10 nights.

Security deposit:

A security deposit of 250 Euro is strictly required at the time of the check-in. This amount will be refunded in full upon check out, provided everything is in order. Please notice that if you check-in after 19:30 (07:30 pm) or on a Sunday or a bank holiday you will be asked to pay an extra fee of Euro 20. Please notice that if you check-out before 09:30 (09:30am) you will be asked to pay an extra fee of Euro 20.
