The surrounding area:

This apartment is located on Via delle Fornaci, right between Piazza San Pietro and San Pietro train station. It is barely a short walk away from the Vatican and all of its attractions (Basilica di San Pietro, Musei Vaticani, Via della Conciliazione, the Necropolis, etc) and Castel Sant'Angelo, a Castle in which the Pope used to hide in times of war. It is also very close to the old City Centre (Piazza Navona, Corso Vittorio Emanuele, etc).
This apartment has also excellent connections with public transportation: right on Piazza del Risorgimento you will find a bus stop through which many bus lines go, and the Ottaviano-San Pietro Metro stop (Line A) is barely a 1,5 Km.

The property:

This apartment is located within a holiday resort that includes 3 lifts.
The apartment is composed by a main room with a Queen sized bed, a kitchenette, a bedroom with a single bed and a bathroom with a shower. An extra bed may be added to accommodate a 4th person.
The apartment includes a telephone (communications not included in the price), Wi-Fi INTERNET ACCESS and Satellite TV (with the most important international channels).
Air Conditioning is available on request with an extra fee of Euro 10 per day.
A parking spot in the private garage is also available (Euro 13 per day, please request availability well in advance).
Also on request, for an extra fee of 3 EUR per day (and per person), breakfast can be offered in a bar right next to the apartment.

The price includes:

The price includes gas and electricity consumption, fresh linen and towels. Pets are not allowed.

Tourist tax (not included in the price) valid from 1st January 2011:  
2 euros per person per night. This tax is not included in the apartment rates, has to be paid upon check in, is not appliable to children under 10 years, and can be applied for a maximum of 10 nights.  

Security deposit:

Check-in: 9am to 1pm and 3:30pm to 7:30pm Monday through Friday. 9am to 1pm on Saturdays. If you need to check-in at a different time, a Sunday or on an Italian holiday you will be asked to pay 20 Euro extra. Please note that it could happen that the apartment is still occupied by guests who are leaving, in this case the apartment has still to be cleaned and the check-in will be maximum at 12pm.
