This apartment is located on Via Modena, a street located barely a 5-minute walk away from Piazza della Repubblica, in the centre of Rome. This is a great area of Rome!: being right in the city centre, you get all the comforts that the Eternal City has to offer you as a European capital, without all the hassle of the historic centre (lack of an underground line, touristic ghettos, etc).
The apartment is located very close to Piazza della Repubblica (which features a beautiful statue of Moses in marble, a less know Bernini - Saint Theresa's ecstasy -, Teatro dell'Opera and Diocleziano's Baths). Walking down Via delle Quattro Fontane you shall reach Piazza Barberini and Via Veneto, with all its Dolce Vita glamour: you will feel like an actor or an actress right out of a film as the doormen in uniform greet you and the chef's invite you into their restaurant!
Piazza Spagna (and the Spanish Steps) is also very close by: from there you shall be able to reach the historic centre - the Coliseum, the Roman Forum, Piazza Venezia and much, much more!
As for public transportation, the apartment is really close to the Repubblica Metro stop, several bus lines run through Piazza della Repubblica, and the Termini railway station is about a 10 minute walk away from the apartment.

The property:

This apartment is located on the 4th floor (lift unavailable) and has been decorated with Venetian spatolato and Sienese stucchi. The apartment is composed of a living room with a dining area and a double sofa bed, a loft with a Queen sized bed (please notice that no walls separate the loft from the living room, so there is little privacy), a completely equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a shower.
Please note that the loft is 150 cm high. The apartment includes AIR CONDITIONING (extra fee), an LCD TV set (Satellite TV), a washing machine, a microwave, a toaster and a DVD player. The size of the apartment is about 40 square metres.
