This apartment is located in a neighbourhood called Castello, probably one of the most peaceful districts in Venice, in the island of San Pietro. Castello (castle, in Italian) owes its name to the fortress that once protected the whole area, and refers specifically to l’Arsenale (navy yard), which helped Venice become the navy power that the city was well known for. Castello is mostly populated by genuine Venetians that seem to live a world away from the hustle and all the tourists that may be found in other parts of the city: the peace and quietness of this area is perfect for relaxing after a long day visiting this wonderful city.
San Marco, with its magnificent cathedral, is barely a 10 minute walk away along the pintoresque Riva degli Schiavoni. The headquarters of the so-called Biennale (the cinema exhibition) are also a short walk away. Vaporetto (water bus) stops are also available nearby.

The price includes gas and electricity consumption, linen and towels. Pets are not allowed.

Tourist tax (not included in the price):
2 euros per person per night. This tax is not included in the apartment rates, has to be paid upon check in.

For this apartment, according to the general booking conditions, in case of cancellation the reservation deposit is forfeited. However, for this apartment if you cancel 7 days before your arrival, you could use the reservation deposit for another date for the same apartment, according to the on-line prices. 

Security deposit:

A security deposit of 200 Euro in local currency is strictly required. This amount will be refunded in full upon check out, provided everything is in order. Check-in: from 15:00 (3pm) to 20:00 (8pm) Please notice that if you check-in after 20:00 (8pm) you will be asked to pay an extra fee of Euro 50. Check-in after midnight are not authorized. In case clients are delayed, we can exceptionally make them check-in after 24:00 (midnight), and they will be asked to pay an extra fee of Euro 70. If they arrived between 01:00 (1am) and 02:00 (2am), they will be asked to pay an extra fee of Euro 100. Check-out: before 10:00 (10am).
