The surrounding area:

This apartment is located in the neighbourhood of San Polo, barely a 2 minute walking distance to the Rialto bridge. Ponte Rialto beautifully crosses the Canal Grande (Great Channel) in Venice, and people from all over the word walk over its ancient pavement on their way to San Marco, the greatest basilica in the city. As you join these people you will be able to admire the high street shops on both sides of the bridge (some of which have the best views of the Channel in Venice!) and enjoy a nice stroll across the day market, in which you may be tempted to buy some fresh fruit or some nice vegetables.
Directly behind the Rialto market area you will find Campo S. Giacomo di Rialto with the church of San Giacomo ("Giacometto), built in the 12th century, regarded as the oldest in Venice.
Ca' Pesaro, a museum of modern art, is located a 5 minute walk away from the apartment, within a baroque building that you mustn't miss by any means!
The apartment is also very close to Piazza san Marco (10 minutes walking distance)
The neighborhood surrounding the apartment contains a lively atmosphere, especially in the mornings when the Rialto market comes alive with the sounds and voices of real Venetian life. Restaurants and cafes are found alternating among businesses of every kind, the most prevalent being bakeries, butchers and pharmacies. The neighborhood is very residential among venetians as both a social gathering place and as a principal area for food shopping.

The apartment also overlooks the Canale Grande: say good morning to Venice as you wake up in this wonderful town!

The apartment is easily reachable from Piazzale Roma or from the train station "Santa Lucia" with the vaporetto (water bus) ACTV Line #1, getting off at the stop "Rialto Mercato", or taking a private water taxi to the Rialto fruit and vegetable market.

The property:

The apartment has been recently renovated and provided with a nice view of  the Canal Grande and the market. It is located on the 3st floor (lift unavailable).
The apartment is composed by a living room with a single sofa bed, two bedrooms with a double bed each (2 double beds can become 4 single beds) and a  bathroom  with a bathtub.
This apartment is provided  with INTERNET WI-FI, a TV set (TV only in Italian), a washingmachine a microwave and a boiler.
The size of the apartment is roughly 70 square metres.

The price includes:

The price includes gas and electricity consumption, fresh linen and towels. Pets are not allowed.

Tourist tax (not included in the price):
2 euros per person per night. This tax is not included in the apartment rates, has to be paid upon check in.For this apartment, according to the general booking conditions, in case of cancellation the reservation deposit is forfeited. However, for this apartment if you cancel 7 days before your arrival, you could use the reservation deposit for another date for the same apartment, according to the on-line prices.

Security deposit:

IMPORTANT NOTE: for this apartment remember to download from the booking confirmation the instructions to easily reach the apartment. 

A security deposit of 200 Euro is strictly required at the time of the check-in. This amount will be refunded in full upon check out, provided everything is in order.

Check-in: from 15:00 (3pm) to 20:00 (8pm) Please notice that if you check-in after 20:00 (8pm) you will be asked to pay an extra fee of Euro 50. Check-in after midnight are not authorized. In case clients are delayed, we can exceptionally make them check-in after 24:00 (midnight), and they will be asked to pay an extra fee of Euro 70. If they arrive between 01:00 (1am) and 02:00 (2am), they will be asked to pay an extra fee of Euro 100. Check-out: before 10:00 (10am).
